The Obama administration has come out with a double punch for addressing perceived threats to the Earth in the face of changing climate.
While both will affect industry operations, one set of recommendations is meant to “inspire” action by decisonmakers and is aimed at safeguarding natural resources. The other set of recommendations has a clear industry focus concerning energy and a political focus that would put the United States in the forefront of international efforts to affect actions related to mitigating the effects of climate change.
