National Summary
The final link in the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) cradle-to-grave concept is the hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSDF). The TSDF follows the generator and transporter in the chain of hazardous waste management activities. It is the place to which the generated hazardous waste is transported for treatment, storage, or disposal. The terms "facility," "treat," "store," and "disposal" all have specific definitions found in 40 CFR 260.10.
