National Summary
Groundwater comes from precipitation that soaks into the ground. Groundwater contamination can come from a variety of residential, commercial, or industrial sources. Determining the source may resolve who is liable for expensive investigation and remediation costs. A properly operated facility, as well as a sound and appropriately documented groundwater monitoring program, is the first line of defense to reduce the costs associated with groundwater remediation efforts.
