The EPA took final action on a revision to the South Coast Air Quality Management District portion of the California state implementation plan (SIP). This revision concerns the regulation of nitrogen oxide emissions and particulate matter associated with warehouses as indirect sources that attract or may attract mobile source emissions.

The EPA recently announced a proposed update to its Recommendations of Specifications, Standards, and Ecolabels for Federal Purchasing, which help federal government purchasers and other buyers use private sector standards and ecolabels to buy products that are more sustainable and climate-friendly and contain safer chemical ingredients.

Operators of sites covered under the Construction General Permit (CGP) that discharge dewatering water to sensitive receiving waters are required to submit reports of their weekly average turbidity benchmark monitoring data to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) no later than 30 days following the end of each monitoring quarter.
